I first met Richard Santiago II ten years ago as we were both working with Marco Blue Johnson of Marcos Pita. If you know anything about ATL, then you will have had a Pita at one of Marcos many locations through the years.
I was building Marcos Pita’s website and Richard was working on an illustration for the websites front page. By then I had seen Richard’s amazing Lettuce Head painting and other Pencil and Acrylic Art hanging in the Pita shop.
Im forever a fan of Richard’s artwork and he’s the kind of artist that likes to see other artists succeed. We have stayed in touch thru the years, and finally we got a chance for Art Is King to share his story.
